For the female traveler, Bali is a safe island to discover on your own or in a group. On the whole, Balinese men are fairly benign to the appearance of Western women however we are seeing an increase in visitors from neighboring countries who have come to work on the building sites and in the fields that think nothing of wolf whistling, cat-calling, and making lewd propositions.
Yes it will be open. Yes it's super safe. Most luxury hotels are having fire sales, so it's a good time to come. I personally stayed at the Capella Ubud for a night last week just to check it out, knowing I'll likely never get such a deal again – normally it's USD$1100 a night, managed to get it for $600 including breakfast and lunch.
No-one can answer the "is it safe" question. Everyone thought they were in the safest place in the world on Oct 11 the night before the bonb. safety is a feeling. I may feel safe walking down the streeet alone at midnight in Bali but you may not. I returned last week.
Bali Dynasty Resort. The Bali Dynasty Resort is one of the top Bali family hotels. This is because it has just amazing facilities for kids. On top of multiple pools, there is a 56 metre water slide. Even more exciting for little ones is the water playground and water fun zone. There is also a kids club with an outdoor playground.
As long as you take the same precautions that you would do at home, Bali is a great safe place for a single, female traveller. In fact I feel safer walking down the street at night in Bali, than I do in my own home town. Bali is much more peaceful, laid back and gentle. UHj8Tu5.
