24-240 could be a nice one lens solution for traveling or holidays. Rather big. Some users like it - and it is suitable for many needs. I considered it when I bought my R6, but it was not available then. I started with the cheap 24-105 f4-7,1 STM kit version and upgraded to f4 L when it was possible. RF 24-105 is IMO a very good lens !
The RF 24-105 is the best 24-105 out there and at 24mm it rivals my 24-70/2.8L II in terms of sharpness and contrast. Wide open at f/4, even the extreme corners should be good. Multiple tests have shown this (eg. photozone/opticallimits or the digital picture). At 24mm f/5.6 the image should also be sharp from corner to corner.
The Canon RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM might be the lightest and most affordable zoom for full-frame EOS R cameras, but it doesn't offer much range or make particularly special images.

The right side seems to me to be blurred or out of focus. This happens to R5 and 24-105 combo often but not always. Does not happen when taking photos of static objects. When taking the photo I'm following the subject so this can be motion blur I have the EF 24-105 f4 and I find it is a fantastic lens, what didn't you like about it? With many people upgrading to the RF system you will probably find a lot of good second hand ones. My experience with 3rd party lenses is that sharpness and image quality is usually great but AF is often hunting. aOS3.
